The association C.H.E.V.A.L was created in 1992 in the region of Gard (South of France) by Paula Lois, a great friend of the animal cause. The volunteers of this association take care every day of about 200 equines (horses, ponies, donkeys) but also of other animals. The association is working hard to save them from very difficult situations, and to find them a foster home when it is possible.
Three members of the association “Les Néréides Loves Animals” went to meet them on the fieldwork this past November, and were able to spend two days with them to share their passion.
They told us how rewarding it is to take care of animals, but also described the cruel situations these animals are facing due to bad human behavior, and the difficulties which this association meets every day. This is why “Les Néréides Loves Animals” has decided to show them its support !
